photo problem in the gallery

• When I take pictures and go back and look at them in my gallery all I get is a gray box but the photo shows at the bottom in a small box but can't see the photo.  Does anyone know how to fix this.

On me it's saying samsung gallery isn't compatible with my device and I have a samsung note 20 ultra. And I lost all my photos and videos and now screenshots aren't saving and camera photos are blank and it isn't even letting me delete them.

What i did to solve this was:

1. Check the exact name and location of the corrupted photo

2. Take a photo and rename it to the exact name of the corrupted one

3. Open the files app and then move it to the same folder as the corrupted photo (corrupted photo wasn't visible from files app so i checked the path info from gallery app)

3. Delete the photo

4. Both photos should be gone. Deleted from trash as well just to be sure.
