O2 my provider appears to have hijacked Samsung Internet default page to go to O2.

My phone is NOT locked to them, i recently moved to O2 , installed their app and find that there is no setting to remove or change the default homepage.

Note: I know i can use custom setting but default is always shown as O2.

Despite uninstalling O2 app and Samsung Internet I cannot find out where this is set. It must be done in the system. Annoying!

When reinstalling Samsung internet the default is back to O2. Can you tell me how they have done this and how to change it? I'm on Android 12 with note 10 plus

I have the same issue in Pakistan. My network provider is Jazz, and my homepage was changed to their official website. Strangely, it keeps changing back to their website even after setting the homepage to Quick Access in the browser's settings. This happened on my S24U and is now happening on my S25U. Both bought directly from Samsung PK and are unlocked, not bound to any carrier.

This is 💯 down to Samsung, who provided a way for phone companies to literally hijack your device. In any other scenario this would be viewed as illegal and malicious.

No phone company has ANY right to hijack our phones when they didn't supply the phone as a contract.
It's pretty disgusting and and outrageous
