I was just using my note 9 normally and then it started to become extremely hot to touch then within 5 minutes it got a kernel panic issue tried to restart the device and it didn't work please dont tell me i have to enter recovery mode to fix the problem.

My suggestion would be to back it up and factory reset it. Then load your data back to it. If it resolves the problem then that is great news. If not then it may be ready for that big phone shop in the sky.
