Hi there, I've been a happy owner of the note 20 ultra. very good phone, but this update is pure garbage. Unable to use the phone for 20 hours. it won't charge because its busy with a lot of things in the background. On the place where the battery is located appeared a yellowish colour when always on display was active.

All in all, soft reset: nothing
Whiping cache partition: nothing
Letting the phone reboot it's self for over 50 times in les than 4 hours. Made the phone a bit more stable.

Are there more users like me who have this problem?

Hello and goodevening,

This sounds to me not as a problem with an update. If you cant use the phone for 20 hours there is something seriously wrong with the device. If it wont charge due to background activity than I would strongly urge you to make a backup and do a factory reset. If that does not solve the problems you have than the next step is to visit a service centre or have the phone repaired by Samsung.

I am 100% sure it was because if the September update. before that thecphone was OK to use. until the update, the first hour started with one ui errors. After 3 days a restarted the phone & than it happened. it won't charge, 32% & the phone running hot. the next day it restarted over 50 times, until it showed a report that the device didn't start correctly in the members app. now the phone behaves normal

Okay I'll will send the phone for repair, since there are more problems with the phone it self.

A couple of days later, I've got my phone back. Send it to Samsung & they send it to dyna fix 3th party company. they opened my phone & repaired the following thing: motherboard replacement & camera. Still the main problem is there, software. the update I got is indeed faulty & I am waiting for the results. The repair, idk. since when can a 3th party repair service company copy the old motherboards imei to the other.

When you've received a new motherboard this doesn't mean you also will receive a new IMEI number. Did you put a back-up back on your phone?

idk how they do it but its good to know. I putted back my back up, but the phone seems more stable & I found the problem. since they changed the mother board & camera module. most of the hardware related problems disappeared. The only problem is the SD storage, when I pit my sd card back all the problems started again. I am just waiting for a new update to see if they patched the bug.

Have you also tried a new SD card? Did you also formatted the SD card? A SD-card can be broken or damaged very easily.

I tried a new SD card, the Samsung evo & evo plus. both the same problem. Sandisk as well
