Lock screen media control is gone?!

With the latest update, my media control is not showing up on lock screen. Help! I'm a runner and listen to a lot of podcasts and music while running. It's frustrating now having to enter my code to get into the phone and app to FF or Skip if needed. How do I get the media controls back onto the lock screen? All instructions I am finding online are for previous software that no longer is available or similar to the latest software. Help!

Please if someone has any idea how to restore the media controls on the locks currently feature samsung S21. Suddenly the back and forwards controls have disappeared from this feature and now have to swipe open and go into whichever app I'm using usually radio in my case. Any advice welcome thanks

So for some reason Samsung changed it to now show the multimedia controls on the lockscreen unless you click the clock and it pulls up the widgets... So widgets only get shown after you've clicked the clock numbers. It's a stupid extra step.

One solution nobody mentioned was:

If you have "Good Lock" installed from the Samsung store, go to the app and modify your lock screen in "Lock Star" to include the media widget.

If you don't have Lock Star installed, it's really easy and provided and maintained by Samsung. Go to the galaxy store and install it and Good Lock.

This fixed it for me after I tried the other options, and I'm pretty confident it will fix any issue with media control missing on lock screens.

Yes, that did it!  I just got a new S24 and it's been driving me nuts the last couple days. Not a fan of the extra step, but MUCH easier than logging in every time I want to start listening.  Thanks!
