What is the advantage and disadvantage of the motion smoothness feature on the galaxy note20 ultra?

Hi, it changes the refresh rate f your screen meaning a smoother experience. It's especially notable when scrolling and animations. It does use more battery, though.

The advantage is that it gives you a much smoother experience visually. The disadvantage is with it switched on you will have less battery life between charger.

But, as I was watching a youtube video by Sakitech. I don't think you guys heard of him, he says that using this feature can give you smoother performance and saves battery. Is that true or false?
