Everywhere in the UK, we had a Partial Solar Eclipse.
Where the Moon passes between us and the Sun.
The photo was at its peak and this view was in London.

I had to use a filter to protect the phone camera from getting damaged by the Sun
Was taken at 30X zoom

DO NOT !! look at the Sun or use your phone without a filter.
You may damage your eyesight or camera

I was so concerned for a second until I saw you protected your camera lenses. Great capture!

Amazing. Very good capture.
Thanks for the tip. I didn't even know the camera can get damaged by being exposed to the sun. 😊
I didn't even know there was a partial eclipse 🤠

Yes the camera sensor can be damaged quite easily like the retina in our eyes.
Think this summer I will see if i can get some sunspots with my telescope. Naturally using a proper solar filter.

You will need Solar filter
Best ones will block out about 99% of the light.
For me I will go with good quality ones every time. Worth the extra bit of money

Certainly need a filter, amazing capture and turned out exceptionally well.  😁

Just cloud and rain my way though 😅
