These are my photos with the s25 without any changes. Sometimes clicking on bright parts of the screen and dragging the sliders down helps a ton. Samsung tend to over expose photos sometimes to focus more on visibility.
Adjust to your liking and then click on the 4 little dots to the bottom right, click settings, scroll down to "settings to keep" and at the bottom there is an option for exposure- turn it on.

Let me know how this helps :smiling-face: 20250204_174720_1000003469_1738691245.jpg20250204_174658_1000003468_1738691233.jpg20250204_180258_1000003473_1738692184.jpg

@Tangy1 Im assuming that's the AI adjustments being weird. Maybe in "Intelligent optimisation" in the camera settings adjust that?

Don't get me wrong I will rarely take night photos but the one time I do I would like it to be at least half decent

It's not super ideal, and I would say night photes have gotten better- but not perfect and still need adjusting of your settings

Adjusting the camera settings.

Intelligent optimisation- see which works best for you

In the same tab maybe try see
Scene optimiser
Automatically optimise the colour and contrast of pictures to make dark scenes look brighter, food look tastier, and landscapes look more vivid.

Maybe try resetting camera at the bottom. In the camera settings

Adjusting the exposure before taking photos

Night photos are already extremely hard to get right, so all these helpful extra features may not give the results we want.

This is what I took tonight... the nice one was a screen shot of the photo before the AI "correction" ruined it. I was in a nice, dark alley, lots of stars in the sky that I wanted to catch. Got the perfect pic and AI ruined it. I tried shutting of optimisation, colour correction... everything. Still does it.

Any advice most welcome!1740682489484.jpg20250227_184147_1000009780_1740681715.jpg
