The shower's radiant is now contained in the region of the Boötes, or Herdsman, constellation.

To spot this, look down towards the horizon from the handle of the Big Dipper until you see a rough diamond containing the star Arcturus - one of the brightest stars in the sky.

It's called Quadrantids meteor shower and I think it's most of the UK tonight

Ohh sweet and please if you don't mind could you teach me how to capture meteroid showers (last image) is have tried to take one in astrophotography mode it doesn't work. Please let me know if you could help me with me😊

I'm trying to figure that one out myself lol I wish I took them pics but I got them off a page on Facebook, I do find if u put your phone on a tripod u get better pics of the skies and stars xx

True astrophotography is epic with samsungs but I'm yet to figure out how to click meteroids pics🫠🫠 Well thanks for the meteroids update I'll try to see them tomorrow if it's visible as it was cloudy here. 😅🫠

Hahaha soo true, it's too cold for me, I was planning to go out but man the cold got me🤣🤣🤣
