Videos freeze and stop working have to come of YouTube then reload YouTube for videos to work properly again,will it be the browser i use or the app itself.

Let's get this sorted for you! Firstly, do you have any software updates available? You can check this in Settings > Software update > Download and install. 

Also, do you have any updates available for the YouTube application? You can check this by opening up the Google Play Store > Searching for "YouTube" > If the word "Update" is visible, then you have an update available.

If the above excellent advice from @RyanD2 doesn't resolve your issue, please clear app cache for YouTube. Then restart your device.

Failing that, a soft reset is your next option (you don't lose data ).

Soft reset - power off and restart

Hard reset - press volume down and power buttons on right hand side of device and hold down until Samsung logo appears. Allow the device to restart.

You don't lose data with either of the above 👍

Soft reset - press and hold power and volume down buttons for 10 seconds until samsung logo appears.
