Hi @leafdriver,
Congratulations on your new device! Since the Galaxy A53 has no problems connecting to other devices, it is probably an issue with the car. What you could try is reset the network settings from your smartphone: Settings > General Management > Reset network settings. If this makes no difference, it is best to contact the dealership as @Patrick advised. Perhaps they can fix this with an update. Good luck!

Hi @leafdriver, good morning.
You can still charge your phone? You can also test a few things by the Samsung Members app. Open the Members-app and go to Support, choose Diagnoses here and select the USB-connection test. What's the result here?
When this the test failed a repair will be the next step 😇
Keep us posted, please!
Kind regards,
Martijn

Hi @leafdriver, good morning.
Thank you for your response! Do you know how to activate the Developers Mode? When you've started this, you see an option Basic USB-Configuration and activate the option File Transfer.
Be careful with other switches in the Developers Mode 😉 Keep me posted, please!
Kind regards,
Martijn

To find out whether this can be solved with an update from us, it is best to submit an error report via the Samsung Members app. My colleagues from the R&D department also receive a log from your phone and get a better picture of it. If this can be solved with an update, it will also be rolled out as soon as possible.
You can submit an error report via our Samsung Members app. Open the Samsung Members app and choose Support, then scroll down a bit and you will see Error reports.
Have you tried a different and new USB cable for the Android Auto issue? And is the car system up-2-date?
Kind regards,
Martijn
