Like many of you my A14 is non responsive intermittently after the ui7 update on Wednesday 27th August. My phone has now been to the Samsung service centre twice, the first time I was told no fault found and the second time I was told it had new software. But I still have the same issue. Anyone else found a fix because I'm just going round in circles with Samsung.
It's a known issue with the update. A fix should be coming soon. For now, force rebooting your phone using volume down and power should fix freezing for a day or two.
It resolves the issue for an hour or until someone calls me, which ever is first. The Samsung centre said they new the issue and have changed the software but it hasn't resolved it.
If you open settings and scroll down you'll see accounts and back up and under that will say Google if there is one. I've found if you unlink the Google account the freezing stops. But obviously this isn't a fix as most ppl use Google for mail/text messages play store etc. I was just testing things out tbh.
