Type-C earphones not working with calls

Hello! Recently I've bought type-C AKG-IC110 earphone. It doesn't work with calls. Even though other audios are fine. Video, music etc.

I plugged it in my laptop and connect discord. And yes, completely ok. I'm currently using Galaxy A22.

I think it's something like bug. Is anyone having same problem like me?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A24 and just bought a pair of JBL Tune 310C USB-C earphones after googling whether I can use USB-C earphones on this phone - Google assured me that I can but, alas, same issue as so many others, here: it works for media play back and the controls work for answering calls and adjusting volume, yet the call sound still comes out the phone speaker and you need to speak into the phone mic - highly disappointing. 

I've looked through all my phone settings, including developer options and can't find any way to fix it. 😞
