Looking for help please,
I have purchased a new A55 and have tried to transfer my data from my old A21s using smart switch but I keep getting a message telling me that the A21s smart switch cannot be upgraded to carry this out.
I have tried updating to the newer version which appears to download (approx36mb) but then goes no further.
Any advice appreciated

If you get stuck then perhaps try Samsung Cloud to create the back up.
The only data that won't move across is your Gallery.
If Smartswitch still wont work to move across your gallery then consider Dropbox.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

Sorry to hear of your issues.
Please uninstall SmartSwitch on your A21 then go to Galaxy Store, search for it again and install it again (please do not uninstall then click on reinstall as you'll download the existing version again).
See if that resolves your issue.

Thanks for reply, deleted app but when trying to install app again its saying phone is not compatible with this app ?

If you feel you have then back up everything except your apps to Google and then use the back up on your new device. Install all apps manually not from back up or SmartSwitch

Apologies for not replying sooner, smart switch worked once it was downloaded properly. Apps that did not transfer were on smart switch were copied over using Samsung cloud.
