Why, Why, Why did I buy a *****Samsung, spent the night fighting with the smart cross of my old phone via a cable.
ONLY Itemes on the cross is samsung lost the lot. OUTSTANDING.
Why don't you just stay with business users leave the human race alone. I will give your phone 5 days of *issing me off then I will snap it in two and get another (user friendly phone). I now without my permission have my private phone connected to my works phone, why its a Samsung.

What's smart cross? There's Smart Switch.

Hi @Members_xzIuqsS Would need more information, if there is an issue with Smart Switch though if you had back ups there are are a variety of methods to restore data from cloud and set up the phone afresh. Local storage would have been anotherr option. Note that Samsung Cloud no longer backs up photos/Videos. Not sure if you were previously using an Android Device, if relevant icloud photos/videos can be transferred to Google photos though may be some restrictions. https://support.google.com/photos/answer/

I totally understand and appreciate your more than a little unhappy right now with this turn of events.
For many SmartSwitch has worked well but unfortunately for some it has also caused hiccups.
Personally when I'm moving phone model I prefer to use Samsung Cloud to back my data up , and then SmartSwitch just to move over my Samsung Gallery.
Samsung UK Support > SmartSwitch.
