Why does my Samsung 32 5g revert back to default ringtone?

I use ringtone from internal memory aswell as sd card , I change it back several times a day but it still reverts back.

That's a conundrum @painter1960 

Try deleting the version from your Sd card and just pick the one saved in your phone's internal memory which should have been placed in the correct internal files i.e ringtones.

Here is the route I use to change my ringtone which stays changed.

• Settings.
• Sounds and Vibration.
• Ringtone.
• Choose my saved preffered tone.

I sure your doing the same. 😉

What I would try is… 

Go into Safe Mode.

Put the phone in Safe Mode which disables your downloaded app's but let's your stock app's keep working. If the issues stop then this highlights a downloaded app as the possible issue. If the tone does not still hold in Safe Mode then maybe the tone you've downloaded is somehow not fully compatible.

I use Zedge.com to get my free ringtones.

Perhaps try downloading one from their site and try that to see what happens.
