Not charging with superfast charger.

Hello,

My phone stopped being able to be charged with a super fast charger (which was the one i got with the phone) and does charge with standard and fast chargers. All the chargers are from samsung themself. Other devices like my galaxy buds do charge with the super fast charger, but my phone just doesnt (it even depletes pretty quick)!

Anyone have had this problem, or knows hoe to fix this?

What you can do: 1. Go to Settings 2. Go to your battery settings 3. Go to Charge settings 4. Find the 'Fast charging' setting. Is it turned on?

Otherwise it could be a battery problem, especially because you need to quickly recharge the phone. Does your device get hot?

Yes its turned on.

Normal charging: no problems
Fast charging: no problems
Super fast charging: problems

It can get hot while charging, but only if i use it intensively while charging.

When i check it with the members app it also says superfast charging.

When i plug it in the time till full is 59m *85% battery cap setting is on.

I tried charging it overnight today and it worked for some reason.

But for some reason it sometimes charges and other times it just depletes (pretty quick) while charging.

Also what i've noticed is that if i pull the charging block out of the outlet i takes a couple seconds (< 10 s) till it stops charging.

Today i tried charging it with the superfast charger again and look at the results...

Lijkt me stug dat de poort zelf stuk is als hij gewoon laad met standaard en snel laders, maar onregelmatig met supersnel laders?

Maar nee nog niet bij mediamarkt geweest

Ik vermoed inderdaad dat of de accu of de oplaadpoort de boosdoener is. Met een beetje geluk valt het nog in de garantieperiode, dan lost Samsung het misschien voor je op. Je kunt dan je toestel aanmelden via de website van Samsung.

Dan lost Samsung het probleem op óf ze maken een prijsopgave als het door eigen gebruik komt.

Als je het toestel niet kan missen voor enkele dagen zou je kunnen proberen om je toestel sowieso opnieuw op te starten (wie weet) en anders een harde reset te geven (vergeet geen backup te maken).

Maar ik vermoed dat het toestel echt gerepareerd moet worden!
