Before I order, will my A40 work with a USB-C to HDMI Converter and a HDMI cable to my Sony HDMI television? Yes or No? There are so many contradictory answers on the Internet. Please help.
The A40 isn't compatible with USB C to HDMI. You would need to use a wireless casting method, such as Smart View which is built in, to mirror your phone to your TV. Smart View can be found in the Quick Panel (swipe down from the top with 2 fingers).
Hi JordanS, Thanks so much. That's what I thought, a sigh of relief, no need to look any further. But... casting has given me other problems. Sigh, after hours of research. I'll reopen this thread in a few days, or use an other category.
