Gboard keyboard made my phone softlock(a71)

On my a71, I was using gboard the keyboard froze I tried to leave the app and my phone softlocked, my phone has softlock this year like 6 times, it's becoming a real problem, im getting anxious doing anything serious incase it softlocks

Does this only happen with that particular keyboard or all of them such as the Samsung Keyboard @williamg209
