I just bought a Galaxy A42 5G and it has an interesting but disturbing issue. When using the phone in normal calls, meaning using the ´phone´ app. The microphone doesn´t work unless the Bluetooth on the device is turned ON. I have tried rebooting, searching for updates and so, and nothing solve the issue. Bluetooth must be On in order to use the microphone when using the phone app.

Is this a common issue? Is Samsung planning to update the app or release a fix??

Hey. First time I had the issue with the microphone,  I used the Samsung service online (they collecting the cellphone and deliver it as well for free) anyway 3 days service .result? Motherboard change  and a few little chip gone . Arrived well healthy .for 3 weeks. Same issue. Sent it away again . Just come back a week ago. 3rd time I won't send it back. But the Samsung service worth it.

I've had the same issue for the past few months. When I make a call I can't hear the other person nor the person can hear me. The dialing sound doesn't even appear. Everytime I need to restart the phone for it to work. This is very annoying and I really hope Samsung fixes this soon in a software update since it's clearly a bug in their software.
