Hello Samsung Community,
I’m writing to report a serious issue that occurred after updating my Samsung Galaxy A33 5G (Model: SM-A336E) to the latest official software version from Samsung.
Model Number: SM-A336E
Update Page: Samsung Official Link
Release Date: 16 June 2025
Android Version: Android 15
One UI Version: One UI 7.0
Date I updated the phone: 24 June 2025
Date problem started: 28 June 2025
After using the phone for 4 days post-update, the device suddenly became stuck on the Samsung restart screen. It’s now in a continuous reboot loop and not usable at all. Here’s what I’ve tried:
Force restart using Power + Volume Down → No success
Tried connecting to PC via USB → Device not detected
The screen remains stuck on the Samsung boot logo (video proof available)
This issue started only after the update, and before that, my phone was working perfectly fine.
Samsung provides a 1-year warranty for the device, which is appreciated. But my concern is why such a major software update was pushed without proper testing, especially when it can cause a phone to become unusable?
This seems like a software-level fault from Samsung's side, and as a responsible brand, I request you to:
Provide a free resolution (without service charges), since this issue started only after your official update.
Acknowledge that this is not a hardware issue caused by the user, but a critical software bug that needs urgent attention.
I hope Samsung will stand by its customers and fix this issue without any extra cost. Please treat this as a priority.
Thank you,
Rahul (india)

Thank you for your response and suggestion.
However, I’d like to clarify that my device was working completely fine before the update, and I haven't installed any new third-party apps recently that could have triggered such a serious issue.
Also, since the phone is stuck on the Samsung boot logo and is not responding to any button combinations, I’m unable to access Safe Mode, Recovery Mode, or even connect it to a PC — it's essentially stuck in a boot loop.
Given that the issue started only a few days after the official One UI 7.0 (Android 15) update, I strongly suspect it’s a delayed firmware-related problem, not caused by third-party apps.
Appreciate your input, though — I’m sharing this in the forum to get attention from Samsung Support and others who may be experiencing the same issue after the update.
Thanks again!

Hi I'm having issues as well apart from completely re arranging on the home screen and removing the search function at the top the buttons on the bottom of the phone don't work. Plus using Victor app yesterday the audio from a video continued to play on loop even when the app was closed. It has indeed made my phone A33 glitch.. so I'm not buying into the 3rd party app idea. Didn't do it before update.. no new apps installed..now it's misbehaving 🤔
