Fingerscanner not working!

After the last update some days ago the scanner is not working. After een restart of the phone the scanner is working for a two or three time and than dead again. In the diagnostics scanner does not react. Adding an extra finger scanner gives no reaction.

Please advise.

Hi Ajay,

The modelcode is SM-A528B/DS - Galaxy A52s 5G.

I'm reluctant to clear the cache. Fortunately I restarted the phone several times now. And the fingerprintscanner is luckaly working again.

Strange thing that came and now is gone.

Hallo @Noci1,

 

Thank you for your message. What is you modelcode and  have you tried deleting the cache memory through the recovery menu? If not, turn of your phone, press and hold the Volume Up, Power, and Home/Bixby buttons until you see the Android logo. After a few seconds you will enter the recovery menu. Select 'Wipe cache partition' and afterward 'Reboot systeem now'. Let us know it it worked.
