Disappearing emails

How can i stop my emails disappearin. Have lost older ones even from years back. I dont know what ive done, but now only holds last 10 or so. V. frustrated technophobe. Please help

Hi welcome to samsung community, have you checked you main in the app or Through laptop. In the app it shows very less. Can you clarify it???

Hello 👋 @shazz63 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

First look at any sync preferences that have been set up. 

Also when your in the email app pull up from the bottom of the screen, which should retrieve older emails. 

Finally if none of the above helps delete the email app from the accounts section, and re enter your email credentials.

Thanks guys for your suggestions. Ive tried all sorts in the settings. Ive tried looking at sync preferences. Only if i highlight a sender then search it gives me 'older emails' button for that sender. I will give deleting and re entering a go😵‍💫
