April patch for A55 5g

Has anybody received April security update for A55 5g yet?

Must admit, indications appear to show it is broken

My brand new A55 died (completely busted, no hard reset, no charging) immediately after this new update. And it wasnt rooted, update was OTA... all by tje book. Got new replacement but now im too scared to try the update again.
