Hi guys I  have an A51 5G and just read that we don't get the up date now until May what the hell it was March originally why have they changed the date.

to be fair, the entire world is currently running behind om literally everything.

I remember reading the A51 getting the update before the A90 I used for work and suddenly that's now getting it in April.

probably just a covid work from home episode a la Cyperpunk2077 lol.

at least its still coming!

@Darren22: The update schedule is subject to change if any issues are encountered through testing and ongoing reviews, so this is likely to be the reason why the A51 5G update has been pushed to May. I understand your disappointment, however it's important to iron out any issues prior to release to ensure you have the best experience.

this is total garbage even my a8 got android 9 in april, honestly I am regretting getting this phone over the pixel 4a over this

I have created a post where I go in depth with this and explain why Samsung can release it now. Do not believe it if they say 'there are bugs' as Samsung clearly doesn't care about us a51 5g consumers. There are no bugs, and as I said in my other post/petition, this rollout can easily happen this month in the UK

A51 already got the update in the UK a few weeks ago, along with other devices like the note 10 lite and m31 in the UK. Samsung seems to have not updated the list correctly yet.

you know, hands down, the pixel 4a is THE goto midrange phone. it outperforms every single other device in the same weight class and even 200 pounds above it

Only reason I didn't get that device was the smaller screen size, Samsung software features I'm used to like popup windows and the fact I didn't care much for the camera + the SOC was worse on the 4a then this device. also got a good deal on the a51 5g

did you Not follow the flow? Some are already getting it on their models ahead of others.

the release list is just not fully updated or QCed.

if you need to flash your mod tag in every post please respond accordingly and show that you know what you're talking about since between @Qwerty7 and myself we have actually helped more people than you have in a few hours just by chatting.

I'm sorry. I thought at first you made a mistake when you told someone to emergency recover their firmware into a software boot and force a potential brick of their hardware without ANY troubleshooting.
