Hello

Newbie user & well pleased with the recent updates. I’ve followed all the tips and tricks herein this ‘Community’ - not sure if the following is in the appropriate place though.

Does ne body know if there is a way to create folders on the Home screen that are not transparent, and with just the created text label running thru them or below ? Different colours would be good like they are just now.

I’m trying to clean up the presentation look and find squinting at the app ‘mini images’ within the folders distracting.

There’s an image with ‘Shop’ showing in ‘Good Lock Labs Theme Park’ that I’m trying to recreate, but I can’t make head nor tail of the app and its use.

Regards

You can put names under the folders manually, except Google, Microsoft and Samsung which already have names (probably that was done by me by adding all their apps together), if you create folders for some reason you can only chose a colour when you create them on the A55 5G, I have verified with the A56 5G, I expect they are very similar.

Hi again. I have found out how to change the colour of folders on your phone, and it's available for all the folders you create.
Tap on the folder to open it. Once it's opened and appears large on the screen, there is a white circle on the right top corner in the folder. Tap that white circle and it will allow you to customise the folder with your chosen colour.

Star_girl - thanks 4 that - sorry but, been there, seen that, done it already from day 1, and, with respect, that’s not what I'm after - see my original question.

It’s the folder ‘image’ on the Home screen that I need to create. It needs to be solid colour (not transparent) with the ability to have the folder name text either thru the middle of it or just below it, as is just now.

Tapping on the folder would reveal the apps/files contained therein as normal (the mini images of which I do not want to see on the Home screen)

Maybe it's the way I phrased/wrote the original query that has led to misunderstanding and maybe it's a Home screen ‘folder icon design package’ that I need.
