After completing the UI 6.1 update my phone stopped being able to charge or connect to a USB cable. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Hi @Members_HqeqSi0 I would suggest that you clean the charging port thoroughly to rule out any debris there. I assume the charger looks fine, is it official Samsung one? some advice here https://www.asurion.com/connect/tech-tips/how-to-clean-out-your-android-or-iphone-charging-port/ However worthwhile checking Diagnostics via Samsung Members-Get Help. you could run your phone in Safe Mode as if works there would suggest a conflict with 3rd party app (if applicable) and pinpoint recent apps which have been installed.
Whilst not guaranteed sometimes wiping the cache partition can help with charging issues and is advisable after updates. Follow these steps:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
If though issue persists advisable to send an Error Report, Samsung Members-Support-Send Feedback-Error Reports-power/Battery/Charging. Ensure send system logs is selected.

Sorry to hear of the issues your facing at this time.
As well as @JAMES4578 👍 excellent suggestions you could also try this.
Usb reset.
Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device.
There is also a diagnostic test tool found in your Samsung Members App.
Feedback via your Samsung Members App is an option also.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

I have been having the same problem for quite some time now. After the last 5 or 6 system/One UI updates, I have experienced several charging issues, ranging from slow charging, to warnings of water in USB port or dead charging altogether. It appears to be getting worse at every update. Initially a restart was enough, now it starts charging again only after several hours of waiting time and multiple restart attempts. Cache clearing does not seem to have an effect. Once it start charging everything works fine until the next system/One UI update.
