A50 charging problem

My A50 phone is plugged in and says it is charging but it's not! Any ideas?? Thanks

Is your charge port clean and free of debris? Are you using a genuine Samsung charging cable and charger? Prefferibly the one for your phone?

A huge amount of handsets now use more power than a standard 1 amp or even 2 amp charger can supply.

Try Changing the Wires or plugs or wall outlets

Thanks but I've tried all of that. the charger came with my phone. The lead is ok as it sometimes works with ny laptop but not a charger!
