My device has just received the Andriod 10 update. I recommend turning off Samsung gestures before doing the update first. Mine was messed up after the update and the launcher was unresponsive, I could get into settings from the notification panel and set the system navigation back to the three buttons and it then worked. After that you can go ahead and enable Android 10 gesture navigation if wanted.
