Since an update to Android 11, Mobile Hotspot on my A40 is very buggy.

Its like the toggle for on/off isn't working,it usually takes 5-6 tries for it to turn it on/off.

It is the same when clicking from quick access menu or from settings.

Hopefully this gets fixed in the future because it is very annoying.

Same issue here. The update broke this feature. Will have to make a ticket About it.

Guys and girls, resolved the issue having rebooted the phone 😃

Seems I hadn't rebooted it since the update installation. It works. Try!

Same here, sometimes it switches on and sometimes it won't. I've given up and rolled back to Android 10 as I use the hot spot daily.

I came back. The issue is still exist. I have to perform rebooting each time I need Mobile Hotspot enabled.

I have the same problem, tried doing a reboot and that didn't work. It only works if I switch the phone off then back on.

How do I roll back to Android 10?

It would appear that this is a common problem with the latest update I have it too and its very inconvenient, I have started another post. How can we flag this up to Android or Samsung?

Our local samsung support team suggested resetting networking settings and reboot the phone. Let's try altogether and who knows... perhaps find the solution.
I've already done it. Here are the steps:

Settings - General settings - Reset - Reset network settings.

Warning! The procedure wipes all remembered wi-fi networks so check your wi-fi network key before resetting.
