So my uncle bought an A12 from the USA, I inserted a Bangladeshi sim card and it was fine, but after an automatic patch update, I couldn't make phone calls or messages. I attached a snippet of the particular message.

This maybe a region lock that's happened.
Usually inserting a local sim card from the region it's been released in but also being in that region and making a 5 minute call releases the lock.
However I appreciate it's worked before.
You may need to contact Samsung for support although as the phone's from a different region they may not be able to offer support.
I say this as that's the current situation in the UK where I am.
I imported a phone from Samsung Hong Kong into the Uk and Samsung UK wouldn't provide support for it.
I'm also not sure if a software update would lock out the phone.
Can you try another sim card in it and as a very last resort back up and factory reset.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
