I don't know if it is actually a problem or if I'm just imagining it but is anyone else finding it takes longer to charge your device than before the beta upgrade?

I've found it fine charging had no noticeable difference from it. Try using the charger that came out of the box that's what I use.

yea I am using my original charging block and cable that came with my phone. maybe I'm just imagining it

No difference here since installing the beta.

There should be no difference in charging the device. If you notice any disruptions or charging problems, check if the device's USB port is clean and the charger plug has not been damaged .

Also you can report the problem via the Members application so that our developers will have a look at it 😉.

quite the opposite for me and it kind of alarms me that my device seems to be charging faster than previously without any mention of any changes in the firmware

Have a look in battery settings - more settings to see if fast charging has been toggled off.

I am noticing battery drain but no issue with charging

I'm definitely not experiencing any slowness with charging the phone if seems to take take same amount of time. You may want to try another official charging cable and power adapter.
