BETA REPORT 1

1. Battery usage
In my phone the battery usage is a bit higher when I turn on medium power saving mode ( very unusual )

2. Camera app
I noticed a slower autofocus in video mode comparing to android 9.
The modes for camera... I'm not sure which one is better (a whole list or few modes with MORE button). I would say that I preferred the old style probably because I was just used to it.

3. Full screen nav bar gestures.
That's what I won't use, it's just not working for me especially when in browser. Instead of swiping on web page (left, right, up, down) the home screen popping up or recent apps or simply previous page was reloaded.

4. Installing registration and related issues.
Please look at my other post as it's detailed there.

5. Boot speed, fingerprint accuracy, iris unlock.
Boot is a little bit faster compared to android 9.
Fingerprint recognition and iris recognition much much faster. Thumbs up for that.

6. Keyboard accuracy, edge screen accuracy, and general screen accuracy.
Keyboard is definitely less accurate comparing to older android version, the same applies for edge screen and entire screen.
So it might be a general issue with screen accuracy, not with keyboard app as reported by other user before.

7. Other issues and what I noticed.
Sometimes when phone i locked with screen off pressing the home button brings up a black screen instead of unlock screen. I need to press power button and then home button again to get unlock screen. If I press power button when phone is locked with screen off it always brings unlock screen as it should.
I didn't have any issues with app crashing or phone freezing.
Screen brightness auto adjust could be a bit faster and also quite often I have to turn it off and on to make it auto adjust at all. That's an issue I also had in android 9 and previous betas in past.
Media button on notification bar. Is it really needed? In past there was an Samsung Music app controller on top just when I swiped down from any screen. It worked absolutely fine for me. I only had to swipe down (to see notification bar) and then click next song or pause etc. Now I need to swipe down, then click media to get access to music player controls. That's one extra click. Also before I was able to see that music player was active on top of task bar (little note icon), now until I click media I can't tell is the app playing music or it's paused (when volume is off).

thank you for such an exhaustive report! The slower performance and accuracy issues might be caused by the Beta Programme. As for the Camera modes, I personally prefer the new version, it seems quicker to use

If you have any suggestions about how we can make the system better, don't hesitate and share them with us in the Suggestions section! This way we will be able to see if there's a need for a change or an improvement

BETA 2

1. Samsung Music app is now displaying in notification bar as it in android 9. Great to have this feature back.

2. New Galaxy Store design is in my opinion much better looking,  easier to use,  and quicker to use. Great. 

3. Camera app. The issue with pro mode (max exposure time) now sorted. In relation to design (old modes layout vs new one with MORE button), modes can be dragged into sliding bar in app so if someone prefers the old layout it can be easily done. 

4. Battery drain. Battery usage is still quite high even that not many processes are running in background.  Probably it will be better in stable version. 

5. Display autobrightness.  Still very slow and quite often requires to turn auto adjust off and on to get it working fine again.
