@Graykenhill,

It is possible that Spotify app is still not fully compatible with the One UI 4. Anyway, you can try to clear cache of the Spotify app (or reinstall it if necessary). Also check if any application updates are available.

If that won't help, report the problem via the Samsung Members app, right after it occurs :hand-with-index-and-middle-fingers-crossed:.
