Widgets crash screen

When I access widget placement screen it crashes and phone is fine but can't add new widgets

Does the issue you encounter seem similar to the one mentioned below?

When gesture hints option is turned off, Home screen grid is changed which causes apps and widgets to disappear from Home screen.
(Countermeasure: Apps and widgets will be restored if you change Home screen grid to have gesture hints)

If no: Please try to perform wipe cache partition. If that doesn't help - please send an error report through Samsung Members app so that the developers can take a look 😊

Done the cache wipe and widgets being added still crashes
