Why cant I like put my brightness vertical and stuff

If the issue persists, please report it through the Samsung Members app and attach the log files immediately after the problem occurs .

I don't know if you fixed it, but you need to drag the resize box so it takes up 3 spaces vertically. Then they will go vertical. Although looking at your pictures, you don't have that resize toggle, so maybe try restarting your phone.
