I have have noticed that when you choose a gallery photo and snip it and save as sticker, when you send in WhatsApp it sends a picture with a black background

I think those stickers are only usable in Gallery edit feature and can't be used on WhatsApp etc

I've seen a video reviewing android 14 on a s23 and it shows a sticker being sent, if you save as sticker it shows in the emoji keyboard correctly but when you select it a picture is sent not a sticker

Thanks for reporting! You can send an error report through Samsung Members app, but it may be necessary to wait for the next app update from WhatsApp to fix this issue

It's not a WhatsApp issue. It's the Galaxy software. Apple works just fine.

Yeah, it's sent as an image rather than a sticker on various social media platforms, which defeats the entire purpose of a "sticker" 😕

I am experiencing the same issue on WhatsApp on a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra though it works perfectly fine on Signal. Question is who has to fix it, Samsung or WhatsApp? Regardless of who it is it should be fixed as many people are using WhatsApp and I assume it would have a bigger impact if Samsung is approaching WhatsApp in case they need to fix it than us "Users"

I'm still having issues with the stickers
They save correctly but when sent on WhatsApp they still have black background
And are not sent as a sticker, I've just had the new Ai 6.1 update too
I have the Z Flip 5

Also since the latest update 6.1 as of yesterday my cover screen clock is now very dim until I wake it up, which was never the issue before this update 🤯

Yep, same here - Samsung does not seem to address this. Though stickers are working in other messengers nobody (not Samsung nor Meta) does have any interest in fixing this issue. Works on Signal, Telegram and others, not on WhatsApp. Samsung S24 Ultra with the latest upate.
