Hi, I use an s22 ultra with the beta software before the upgrade Samsung messages. Since the upgrade RCS chat stopped across calls and text on other devices and Samsung. The button for RCS is on and so is the chat setting in the app. My watch5 no longer syncs with the phone app. 

These functions do work with Google messages.

I've tried resets of all my devices same issue was replicated.

The rcs function is working on my s22 ultra now with the beta.before the beta install it was hit and miss would have to wait for a week or so for it to become active

Not having any issues with RCS on my S22 Ultra. Try wiping the cache on the Messages app to see if that helps. It may also be worth wiping the cache partition as well.

Have you tried solving this by wiping cache partition as @NinjaRanga suggested? 

You can do it through the Recovery mode. Turn off your device > Connect your device to the PC via USB (not to the charger) > Wait until the message that the device is being charged appears > Press and hold down the volume up and then power buttons and hold them until the device turns on > Recovery menu should appear > from there select "Wipe cache partition" (you can navigate using volume up/down buttons and confirm with a power button).

If that doesn't help, please report this issue via Samsung Members app so that the developers can take a look 😊
