Regret joining beta

Oh how I wished I hadn't joined the beta 12 programme. Blurry home screen, battery drain, apps crashing/not opening. Only downloaded it last night too.

Hi here is a fix for battery drain and app crashes , remove google account and clear system cache then reset app preferences then log back into your google account seems to fix some of the issues

Might be worth wiping the cache partition via recovery, I usually do that at every updates. Running beta 2 on the S21U and so far so good

Likewise, regret this too.
It seems it was way too early to release this beta!
Too many major bugs!

It seems they would rather have consumers test and report issues on these beta releases then do the hard work themselves.

At the end of the day, why do we pay for the devices, buy hardware including software, ongoing updates but it seems they expect the paying consumers to identify and report all bugs?? 🤔

Some bugs should come from consumers, especially with those apps/settings that are specific to certain users/groups, but the general ones should be identified and fixed by Samsung themselves!

Seems wrong and backwards to me in this day and age!

Were you forced to install the beta? The whole point of a beta is to test the software on a mass scale. The more people testing it out the more likely it is that bugs will be found.

Samsung obviously can't do it on their own as they likely don't have enough staff to test it which would take longer for a stable release.

No one is forced to install the update. You make a decision to install if you want with the expectation of experiencing some or lots of bugs.

I thought the blurry background was a feature but randomly it's blurry then others it's not.
