'Phone is rooted' error messages

Woke up this morning to my work apps being blocked and getting a message from one of my games sating that the phone is rooted. Everything was fine but this is a new development. On the latest version of the Beta. Any one else have this issue?

Yes i have the same issue and with the google pay / wallet as well showing the same error, I had the latest beta for some time now and only today it's showing this message, yesterday all was fine

Yes same here. Samsung has delayed so long beta has effectively expired from googles point of view. Always a risk. I guess we should roll back to stock unless it is a spare test phone you are using as who knows when beta 4 will land.

Hello @Rasjonsey,

Hopefully the newest Beta version rolling out soon fixes the issue. However Google Wallet may not work with Beta software, as it is not certified. Payments with Google Wallet will work as usual when stable version of software is released. If you would like to continue using contactless payments during Beta Programme, you can still use Samsung Wallet instead of Google Wallet

I bought a Brand New Samsung A14 to replace damaged A04s having been sim swapped - without my knowledge until I found purchases made - and I have been securing Bank Apps etc... A few sensitive Apps have been showing 'Rooted Device Detected', 'Rooted Devices Are Not Supported' , I am pleased that my Banks App noticed this, yet these now means I can not use the App whilst shopping in person ie on the High Street or in Tesco with a basket or trolley! How many people are aware of their phone being secure? 

In today's world there is so much uncertainty about the economy, everyone should be keeping a close eye on their finances! Especially with Trump making deals with Putin and Elon Musk helping cut US spending. How at risk is every ones money? Most people are being forced to use online banking without question. If your phone has been rooted at the Point Of Sale and you don't know, who will be accountable for loss of money?

Hi @Members_iFAGmdu , That's an odd one for a brand new device that's not on Beta software. Which retailer did you buy your A14 from?
