Seriously Samsung, why??? Please at least allow people to select which icons they want to see. Knowing about a connected(!) bluetooth device or an alarm that is set is absolutely essential. Needs to be visible without swiping down first.

Yes, please request it to come back!
It's annoying to the point I want to trade-in my new S25 Ultra for another phone!
Thank you

Of course I want to see the icons. 20 years ago when windows started hiding status icons you could still choose to show all. Why are we now removing functionality? I can choose to stop seeing notifications from an app but I can't choose to always see the bluetooth icon?
Please let the user choose which icons to show on the status bar, including: alarm clock, bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, 5G/LTE, etc.

I just switched from Apple, and I'm quite happy with OneUI 7 on my new Galaxy S25 Ultra, but the status bar is a place for status icons, and not showing some of them like BT / Headphones / Alarm, is a weird decision. Maybe for the NFC icon (it is almost always active), it might make sense, but not for everything else.
Previously, you could hide any icon you wanted using Good Lock > QuickStar.
I agree, that's not good to force a user to install additional software to show/hide icons. But you could bring the same functionality from the QuickStar to OneUI 7 settings and disable almost all icons by default. In this case, the user would have a choice of what to show and what not.

Please do
And also media control is missing from notifications and now an extra swipe down is needed to access it
Many people liked it the way it was

I work in the Bluetooth devices industry and it is CRITICAL for me to have at least Bluetooth icon always visible on the status bar so that I do not miss if any earbuds glitch and connect to the phone or disconnect from it. This small change made my experience with a phone a total nightmare. Please add an option (at least through the QuickStar) to return the Bluetooth icon to the home screen status bar! If there are people who like more "clean" look they can have it disabled. Do not become Apple and decide for the users what they need! Android is chosen for the customization!

I want this feature back as well. Not sure why it was removed with no option to switch back.

In my car I have to verify every time does the BT is ON. Typical for Samsung to remove rarely BUT used features. The same like BT in Pen 😞

Wifi calling icon is literally essential when you are in roaming, pls, get it back on the main screen. It should be up to users to choose a set of necessary status icons. If that is troublesome to implement in a first hand, pls, get all icons back
