One UI 7 Beta 3 - Z Fold 6

Since installing One UI Beta 3 on my Z Fold 6 last night the Play Store thinks my device is not certified and the google wallet won't allow payment cards because it thinks the device has been rooted.

I know we should accept bugs with Beta software and I do accept them to help find issues but there shouldn't be fundamental Operating system faults!

Fix it now Samsung, this is shocking!

Before you install beta it comes with warning ⚠️ that some apps might not work or Google pay, personally I think you should join beta if you have secondary phone and want to experience new One UI and willing to report bugs and things of that nature you found so developers can fix any issues.

This has been the case for most betas for years. Samsung pay still works fine if you are able to use your cards on there

Do your research; be sure to read the disclaimers from Samsung and understand what this is and what it is for.

The Google Pay app is not executable in the beta version.

The play store was certified and the google wallet worked fine in beta 1 and 2 and then broke in beta 3 - betas are supposed to get better and fix bugs as they get closer to the final version

When you enter the Beta programme, you receive an information about possible issues with Google Wallet payments. For the time of Beta tests, we recommend using alternative payment methods, such as Samsung Wallet.

Thanks for the response. I'd understand if it was just the google wallet and the issues were intermittent but all the issues are caused by the device not being Google Play Certified, effectively making the device appear to have a rooted / unauthorised operating system. Betas 1 and 2 were fine so I still think this is very poor for Beta 3

It's pure good luck that Google Pay worked on the first 2 beta packages this is a common "issue" with beta software

And actually it's Google you need to shout at not Samsung cos Google does not certify beta software so blame Google lol
