My Files - Cannot disable recycle bin

One UI 6. 

 My Files app

 Option to disable recycle bin is no longer present. This means that files that are "deleted" to free up space remain and actually still take up space for another 30 days.

 The option to disable the bin needs to be restored. I do not want deleted items stored in bin for 30 days I want them deleted.

Pls give us the choice to disable recycle bin ... updating the phone should be a pleasure and not an headache.
Technology should make things easier and not becoming like a full time job trying to sort out the phone back the way it was...

More than a year... a couple of updates...almost a new phone out...and we got...nothing! Nothing new about this subject 🤦🏻‍Come on guys, this ain't Apple, don't be anti-consumer.

Right. Just when we thought they were 'consumer friendly' when they made it way easier to unlock the bootloader and root your phone, they go and pull an assenine stunt like this. Thing is, if you're lucky, just do that. Then if possible flash back to a pervious UI version. Probably won't work on the brand new models till a rooting exploit is available. Try XDA.

I'm ditching the Samsung app. Downloading Gallery Go now. Atleast it doesn't have this crappy 'feature'

OneUI 7 and still no option to disable the recycle bin... WTF Samsung!?

@AnnaMaz. Its been 18 months. Clearly people want this back. Samsung is doing two things here. Actively ignoring user feedback and as I've proven, putting users files at risk.
