Totally agree. I'm switching to a brand that doesn't keep removing perfectly useful and existing functionality. How goofy to delete such an essential settings feature.

Do they ever listen to feedback like this?
Of course we should be able to disable the bin.

After removing this feature, I encountered some problems. When I was changing the SD card, it would give an error that your SD card is damaged. The reason was that there were undeleted files in the trash. Not only did you remove a feature, but you also created problems for other things.

I've been using phones and computers for over 20 years and never found a use for the Recycle Bin. It's an annoyance, not a feature, for me. Yet, Samsung has decided to force this on us by removing the option to disable the Recycle Bin in the Files app. This isn't just inconvenient; it's frustrating for those of us with established file management practices.
Why remove the choice? Not all of us need or want our hands held when managing our files. Give us back the control to disable the Recycle Bin. Ignoring user preferences in such a basic aspect of file management is a step back in usability.
Act on this feedback. Restore our ability to disable the Recycle Bin.
