Long press the music player in the quick panel and it lets you remove it

Yeah same for YouTube videos for me but I mean I like the Now bar so I don't mind seeing some random stuff on it lol. But yeah think it has been suggested elsewhere to be able to just swipe the bar away if you don't want it, which I think should be simple to implement.
