Got my UI 6.0 yesterday. Agree the dev (Samsung) should bring back the option to disable recycle bin!

of course we want to keep this option. it's ridiculous to remove the option to disable recycle bin. Why force us to make extra steps to completely remove stuff we have deleted. Same applies to recycle bin in messages and anywhere else, not needed, should just have a pop up confirmation, are you sure you want to delete & even that should be optional

I want it also. Now it does delete from trash but the memory some time is not updated as the files are still kept in the .trash folder. So it is seen as a way to fill the users memory with trash and making their phones to not have memory. Why did you decide to do it? I'm very surprised on your decision and disappointed. Loyal customer. It will become a nightmare for latest phones as the photos are very large and what a user will have to do if it fails to remove from the folder? If you decide to do it at least do it well so no files are kept after deleted from the trash.

I'm missing this option as well. That's unbelievable that they actually went ahead and removed it!
They are forcing their users to switch to 3rd party apps for viewing images.

Who in this world thought it would be a great idea to delete something that will remain taking space? Are you serious?

Even with the specs of my Galaxy S9 Ultra, it takes extended periods of time to manually empty the trash bin now. It will even "encounter a problem deleting the files" if I try use any application while it runs. Might as well remove the option for "Hide Auto-popup" since it doesn't work anyway. I feel like my tablet is running Windows 2000 now... I'll use it as a paperweight until it the option is returned. Glad I didn't buy the new Samsung phone and picked up the new Pixel pro.
