Do Beta Feedback requests get acted on

Just a little thought.

This is my first Beta testing, where its been very interesting to see others ideas, topics and future features to be added.

One of mine I posted about a depth clock affect on lockscreen for objects in the wallpaper etc similar to Apples lockscreen.

I've seen many beta developer moderators state they will suggest it to the software Beta developers and pass it on.

However, do they actually take notice of the feedback and feature suggestions and actually implement them into the one ui 6 for example... or just get brushed under the carpet as all talk...

I pass lots of the user suggestions so that our developers can keep them in mind.

The majority of the suggestions cannot be implemented right away due to low interest of users, low usage, lack of specific resources, among other things.

But even if the suggestions cannot be implemented right away, it doesn't mean that they will not be implemented in the future. 

The suggestions we gather are available in the developers' suggestion base.

It's always better to send suggestions as there is a chance some of the features the users want will be available on our devices. 

Without the suggestions, it would be much more difficult for the developers to guess what we want 😉.

The problem with posting stuff that's already implemented by apple also opens up the can of worms around patent and copyright issues so not always able to implement it in android.

The copyright police would be out in force on that.

However, valid question as I've made a suggestion in regards to the apps and their folders positioning which I may just send to apple. The idea is to have the apps and folders lower down the screen which would help ergonomically as opposed to the one handed mode. I've made thos suggestion about 3 times for the past probably 5 to 7 years. Once I was even told that this is not the place for new ideas ( I kid you not).

I completely disagree that apple would have a "depth effect wallpaper" patent... come on now let's be realistic.

Even more so when other phone company's have a depth wallpaper effect of their own that are extremely similar to one another in which samsung simply don't have.

For the lower down apps I just use nova and set them out how I want. As for not a place for new ideas, I get this as testing for the beta is purely for testing the things they have already implemented and perfecting them rather than create something new from the bottom up. It should however have a suggestions for things you'd like to see implemented in the future palace for such ideas.
