Yeah iv noticed that too. It uses the vertical digital clock style until you unlock for the first time

I always get that and it's just really weird. I don't know why it's like that

I'm not in the Beta program and the same thing has been happening to me for the last few days, first the original S24 ultra Lock screen clock appears, and only then the Lock screen clock that I installed from Good Lock.

This has been the case since at least OneUI 4 or possibly even earlier, whichever android version introduced the "Unlock to see notifications" thing after a reboot.

Seems to just use the default clock layout prior to unlocking. If your clock is set to the default layout, you won't see any changes which I guess is why not everyone notices. Not entirely sure why it does it though.

Always assumed it was something to it with it not loading all the resources for the custom lock screen clocks until after the "android/phone is starting" part finishes after unlocking but that's just a guess

It's also worth noting that with OneUI 7 the default clock style changed from the horizontal one to the vertical stacked one (similar to the Galaxy S8-Note9 Samsung Experience style). Possibly done to match stock android or maybe just a stylistic choice
