Heya so yes i did read the fix sometime ago but it appears the ambient wallpaper won't register real people either.
I had my phone take a photo of me outside in pure daylight yesterday and tried using it on the ambient wallpaper today. The wallapaper registers it but won't appear to register the image as well a real person. Not sure why. I did do the temporary fix steps as well.
