Alarm ringtone not working

My regular ringtone didn't work this morning. I tried setting up another alarm, but it kept saying the ringtone was unsupported. Eventually, I set up another alarm using Spotify, and it worked.

My wife had this on hers we found there was a update for the clock on the Samsung shop installed it and works fine now

I have just tried my alarm it didn't use the alarm I had set up by default from Spotify. It used the Samsung basic one.

Same here, just submitted a bug after running late to work this morning due to the alarm not going off. It seems this issue was present in the past before, 2-3 years ago, where no matter the tone used (default or custom), the clock app would display a file format not supported message and in consequence it wouldn't play the sound when the alarm went off. Clearing the data and restarting didn't do it for me either.
